The environments that the game takes place in are really well made!

I'm not sure if it's intentional, but having the choices that the player makes be randomized each playthrough is an interesting design idea. You could probably do something really interesting with that.

The visuals are on point, I like how you utilized the 3d space along with the 2d text storyline. It is also very cool that you have to get to multiple endings to get the full story and piece it all together.

Dude there's so much detail in this, it's insane! Love how you chose to combine the 2D text & UI with the 3D modeled world.

I feel as if each time you play, you learn something more and more about the place in which you are exploring, which is a good touch to the game. The randomness when searching also makes the interactive aspect of searching in a text based game that much more interesting and imaginative. Very nice interface as well.

^ Seconded. I think that repeated runthroughs do add to more and more about the game, though I do think because it's randomly generated that things might get repetitive at some point because you get locked into some endings. Mechanically, I really liked the interactive clicking buttons - really adds that much more to the game.

I wonder how you got those vivid 3D backgrounds? Did you make an entire Unity level to get the screen captures for the text game. If so, that's amazing! Game-ception!

really made me think about the passage of time, family, and how someday everything we love will be collecting dust or rotting, but still have meaning unknown to everyone else.  Makes you think about the objects you see everyday, and the history you don't know about

I have similarfeeling! the scene management and light use is deep in emotion.

The longer you linger on the the screen, the more eerie details you can notice, like the "EVIL LIVES HERE" or "NO NO NO NO" messages. It's interesting how the game has happy endings despite the scary atmosphere.

I didn't even noticed that detail, makes me want to go back and replay it just to see the eerie details. And yeah I was expecting a bad ending with the way the games atmosphere is.

This was really fun to play! I enjoyed how the game told me about different avenues I could take in future playthroughs because it made me realize how many secrets there really were. I think that finding all the objects helped to restore this family’s legacy which is very sweet.

Agree that learning about the history of the family is fun, also like the randomization aspect of where we go every time, finding new information about the family.

The atmosphere of the game is so cool! The visuals combined with the poetic text really pull it together. Also I love how the options change as you play. I got to look at the safe and the box in the basement, but had to enter different times.

the visuals of this game look amazing! I like that there’s an option to read the background story too. I also love how every time you go in you can explore a new location, how was that coded? My favorite artifact I found was the diary fragment 📖

The theme and storyline is so interesting. I also really love the images and the mysteries, you can explore different places with every restart of the game. I thought it was over but there was more so that was really exciting!
